eVET
eVET
online Vocational Education and Training platform

Period: 2017 - 2019
Programme: ERASMUS+ Erasmus + KA2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices - Strategic Partnerships in the field of education, training and youth
Budget: Euro 195.176,00

The main aim of the eVET project is to build an online platform (based on the eTwinning platform) on which VET schools and workplaces can develop VET mobility projects. eVET, as an online platform, will exploit the opportunities Web 2.0 provides. It will be available 7/24 from anywhere in the world. This is one of the reasons why the project is innovative. Users (VET schools and workplaces) will have to sign up for eVET via their PIC numbers. Providing a PIC number when registering will make eVET safer and efficient because this 9-digit participant identification code can be used to identify the firms. The data will be used for generating documents such as preliminary contracts. It will also provide documents for VET schools for the recognition of vocational trainings which VET learners and VET staff get at workplaces. Therefore eVET has a great deal of potential contribution to developing VET business partnerships aimed at work-based learning.
