During the past years, the Research & Development Area incremented the strategic activities inherent to research and internationalization, focusing on four primary areas including enrolling international students, financing new projects, promoting the Erasmus plus mobility program, and increasing global visibility. These initiatives take place thanks to a keen collaboration between the Area, the Athenaeum main offices, the Higher Education Quality Assurance system and the Board of Directors, supporting economically, financially and administratively professors and researchers.  The research activities include interacting with EU international financial institutions, disseminating useful information on calls for proposals, managing funding opportunities regarding EU and international programs and monitoring quality standards required by the ISO in project planning and management process.
