Message from the Rector

Dear student,

Never as in this moment the sense of responsibility and the behaviour of every single individual can make a difference. Everyone is asked to stay at home with patience, perseverance and commitment.

From the very beginning Guglielmo Marconi University made the decision to safeguard the health of the staff, the students, of the whole academic community. Since March 3, even before the last Decree of the Prime Minister of Italy, the University did not hesitate to organise almost all its staff with the work from home, teleworking and smart working according to their profiles and skills. In the last week, in a perspective of closing of the Head office in Rome, a task force of only 12 people was working on completing the remote organisation of the areas normally involved in the activities that cannot be deferred.

Thanks to these measures, since March 9, 2020, We, staff of GMU can stay close to You, students of GMU, allowing you to manage, to communicate, to ask for any service useful for your educational path without ever having to leave your house.

Staying at home makes a difference!

Alessandra Briganti, Rector of Guglielmo Marconi University
