The School of Arts at Guglielmo Marconi University aims to explore and interpret the diversity of human activities and creative expression in our ever-changing world, starting from the classical tradition. Traditional subjects such as literature, philosophy, history, classical studies, archeology, and art history have been associated with disciplines such as music, communication, performing arts, visual arts, cinematographic arts and design, allowing students to respond effectively and adapt to the changing social, cultural and professional needs. The School offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses including languages and literatures, fine arts and humanities. The School prides a vast network of international relations, to provide students the opportunity to study abroad.

Graduated in Philosophy (1991, The Sapienza University of Rome) and then in Literature (1995, Roma Tre University), he also holds a PhD degree in Education (1999, Roma Tre University). In 2001 and 2002, he was a Postdoctoral and a Research Fellow at Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung (Bonn) University and a Researcher (from 2005 to 2009) at Fakultät für Philosophie, Wissenschaftstheorie und Religionswissenschaft (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München). He held a position of Visiting Professor in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, France, Holland, Poland, Russia and USA. From 2009 to 2014, he was a Researcher and from 2014 to 2018 an Associate Professor in Theoretical Philosophy at Guglielmo Marconi University in Rome. From 2002 to 2005, he was a member of the Chair of the Ignazio Silone Foundation Scientific Committee. He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the journal «Información Filosófica. Revista Internacional de Filosofía y Ciencias Humanas», since 2005. Moreover, he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of «Qtimes Web Magazin» and «Philomath News» journals, since 2011. From 2013 to 2017, he was the Scientific Director of the Master in School Management (Master per Dirigenti Scolastici, Guglielmo Marconi University). Since 2012, he has been Scientific Director of Instrumenta Editorial Collection and since 2016 of the Theoretical Philisophy Editorial Collection (If Press Publisher). He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of Emmanuel Mounier Foundation and of the International Philomates Association, since 2013. Since 2016, he has been the Scientific Director of the journal «Areté. International Journal of Philosophy, Human & Social Sciences». In 2016 and 2017, he was a Research Fellow at Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung University (Bonn) and a Visiting Professor at Fakultät für Philosophie, Wissenschaftstheorie und Religionswissenschaft (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München) respectively. In 2015, he was awarded the Premio Nazionale Filosofia, in the academic research section. He is Full Professor in Theoretical Philosophy; member of the Academic Senate; Director of the Department of Human Sciences at Guglielmo Marconi University.
