Rome, Italy – Guglielmo Marconi University, the first online university to be accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, announced an international and educational partnership with Coursera, one of the leading Massive Open Online Course providers in America, to promote the education company’s newest initiative: Global Learning Hubs.
As a Learning Hub, Marconi University will offer educational, on-the-ground support for Coursera learners in Rome by providing a physical space for learning, internet access and expert course facilitators with the aim of enhancing online education through a blended learning model.
Gugliemo Marconi University is listed among the official members of ICDE the leading global membership organization for enhancing the quality of open, distance, flexible and online education, including e-learning.
ICDE is an NGO (non-governmental organization) having consultative status with UNESCO, and works together with UNESCO in the service of international cooperation and development.
Guglielmo Marconi University is awarding four scholarships to UNICO Members and their families.
Marconi University will take part in the Twenty Fifth International Education Fair which will be held in Saint Petersburg, 16 February 2014.
The University received the award for the best university e-learning solution at the Moscow fair “Edutech - Education 3.0”.
Marconi University will take part in the 3rd International Study Abroad Fair “MEETING POINT – THE HEART OF RUSSIA” which is going to take place on March 25 – 26, 2014 in Samara and Togliatti (conveniently following ICEF Moscow Workshop).
The event will be attended by foreign universities, colleges, schools and language centres, as well as Russian agencies and Educational Institutions.
